Dust From the Stars (023)Video, Installation, Performance, Live ProjectionIn the Pink Room at Rua das Gaivotas 6, floating ghosts are explored, sensitivities are examined on various scales, from macro to micro-universes, through a device with the gravitational pull of a future with multiple polarities. The room's color inspires a trail of stars that forms a living body, which then creates new shapes. The installation invokes the poetic power of futurisms that haunt us through a dialogue. Sharing a common space, the artists reveal an intimate connection between themselves and the magical device. Through performance, we finally observe a body — never human — in the space, self-exmining and capable of attracting all matter, reinterpreting the space.

Project developed in collaboration with AURORA and Catarina Miranda during a week-long residency at Rua das Gaivotas 6, where a group of artists, investigated innovative methods of shaping a future with fiction as the essential tool. The video footage of the installation was collected by examining surfaces and the interior of the body, using the microscope as a magical device as the gravitational pull of this future.Portable microscope (12x6)
